Premier Surgeon Magazine has named Dr. Johnny Gayton as one of the top 250 innovators in premium IOL implant surgery. PS250 is a list of 250 surgeons the publisher and editors of Premier Surgeon have identified as leading innovators in the field of premium IOL implant surgery.

"The PS250 is a list that the editors developed to help frame the premium IOL movement. We wanted to know who are the movers and shakers of premium IOL surgery," said Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS, Senior Vice President of SLACK Incorporated.

The editors of Premier Surgeon researched and compiled a list of surgeons they knew were: educating their colleagues about premium IOLs at ophthalmic meetings; conducting research to optimize patient clinical outcomes; digging into the diagnostic technology to assist in selecting the best patient, and the best lens for that patient; looking into the unique business aspects of premium IOL surgery; and were the early adopters of the IOL technology.

Introducing the Allegretto Wavelight laser for vision correction!

To keep our promise of using the latest and safest technology we are adding the Allegretto Wavelight laser for LASEK vision correction. Our team at Eyesight Associates is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. It is for this reason that we are adding the WaveLight technology to our practice. The Allegretto wave excimer laser system is the fastest and most precise laser system for vision correction available in the U.S. The laser employs what is called "Perfect Pulse Technology" to safely and accurately control every single laser pulse from start to finish.

The Allegretto Wavelight laser system is approved by the US FDA. This system was developed more recently than other vision correcting lasers, including the Visx, LADAR, and Technolas lasers. Making it safer in design and technique! This excimer laser incorporates an up to date tracking system with accurate laser beams complete with built in wavefront optimization.
